Marlene Hancock, former faculty member of the Political Science department created, organized and developed the Douglas College International Model UN (DOUGIMUN) program and before passing away in 2017 she donated her DOUGIMUN records to the Douglas College Archive. Included in these select documents is her biographical statement. More documents relating to DOUGIMUN are available in the Douglas College Archive located at the New Westminster campus.
In this digitized collection there are select articles published about DOUGIMUN from the Inside Douglas College newsletter (1997-2006), newspaper stories, letters and correspondence Marlene received, including letters from Prime Ministers of Canada and Queen Noor of Jordan. Select photographs which highlight the activities of the Douglas College International Model United Nations (DOUGIMUN) from 1997-2006.
