(325) Pioneer's wagon
Excerpt from page 84 of "B.C.'s Inland Empire" by Erskine Burnett associated with this image: The wagon with solid wooden wheels is said to have been made by Price Ellison, a Vernon pioneer who afterwards became minister of finance in the B. C. government. It looks like a far cry from that old wager on to the 1908 auto shown in the next picture and an equally far cry from this primitive car to a modern luxuriously equipped sedan, but the whole transition is enclosed in a span of fifty years. Truly we are moving fast.
