DESCRIPTION: A lidded tea-pot of jug-like vessel painted in various green, yellow, rust-red, white and blue glazes. The white and rust-red lid is topped with a dark-green spiraling handle. The base of the vessel is flat on the bottom with the sides irregular in shape. Each section of different coloured glaze painted across the vessel’s body is separated by a contrasting line of rust-red-glaze. The vessel has a narrow rust-red spout which is supported with a thin band of clay attached to its main body. White stripes and four-peddled flower shapes embellish the spout and surrounding area, and similar four-peddled shapes can be found over the pot’s body in yellow and rust-red glazes.
